Cintas Canada Crowns Bayview Village Shopping Centre 2017 Canada’s Best Restroom®

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Oct. 10, 2017 — The public has spoken! Cintas Canada, Ltd. is proud to announce that the Bayview Village Shopping Centre in Toronto received the most votes to claim the top prize in the 2017 Canada’s Best Restroom contest. Bayview Village will receive $2,500 in Cintas products and services to help keep its washrooms Ready for the Workday®.
“We’re extremely honoured that the public voted us Canada’s Best Restroom,” said John Minas, General Manager, Bayview Village Shopping Centre. “Bayview Village is one of Canada’s most prestigious shopping centres, and our washrooms reflect that. We take pride in providing our glamorous guests with a chic and clean restroom experience.”
Bayview Village Shopping Centre guests are welcomed with elegant chandeliers at the restroom entrance. Its washrooms feature fully enclosed stalls, each with its own touch free toilet, faucet and hand dryer. There is a nursing room equipped with a changing station and sink, as well as two cushioned chairs. The washrooms also include stylish sconces on both sides of its hand washing basins.
“It was a tight race amongst this year’s finalists that came down to the wire,” said Candice Raynsford, Marketing Manager, Cintas Canada Ltd. “The support that Bayview Village received shows the impact that stylish and well maintained washrooms have on the public’s perception of a business.”
The 2017 finalists were selected based on cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality and unique design elements. Online voting was open to the public from July 11th through September 8th, which produced the following results:

  2. Spring Grill House Restaurant – Hamilton, Ontario
  3. Dorinku Restaurant – Edmonton, Alberta
  4. New City Gas – Montreal, Québec
  5. Renaissance Hotel – Montreal, Québec
