The Bryne Road Cactus Club Cafe Wins 1st Annual “Cintas Canada’s Best Restroom Award” |
Vancouver, British Columbia – Complete with padded furniture, televisions, smoked glass floor-to-ceiling stall doors and hardwood walls, the washrooms in the Bryne Road location of the Cactus Club Cafe are the finest in all of Canada. So says the Internet public who cast online ballots in the 1st annual Canada’s Best Restroom contest presented by Cincinnati, Ohio-based Cintas Corporation (Nasdaq: CTAS), a leading provider of restroom hygiene products and services. |
The 2010 contest attracted nominations from a wide cross-section of businesses, including restaurants, hotels and a convention center. Five finalists were selected based on exceptional hygiene, style and open access to the public. These washrooms feature some of the world’s finest materials, customer comforts and a few surprises. “We are so pleased to have earned this honour,” says Richard Jaffray, President of the Cactus Club Cafe, which received its award during a ceremony at the popular eatery on September 22. “We feel that the restrooms at our restaurants are an important of the overall design that creates our customers’ experiences. So it is gratifying that the public recognized our restrooms with their votes in this first annual award.” |
“This contest is fun but it also conveys a critical message that restroom hygiene matters – for good health and good business,” said Cintas Canadian Marketing Manager Leslie Molin. “Cintas is proud to honour The Cactus Club Cafe, and we congratulate all of our participants in the first year of this program.” |
